Dale
Also Bouder in Raymonda Variations. I'm in heaven! Link to comment
AmandaNYC
Also Bouder in Raymonda Variations. I'm in heaven! I'm with you! Raymonda and Rubies! Rubies is so perfect for her. And, fortunately, my husband and I already have tix for the debut performance. Now, I just need to decide if I am going to Raymonda. -amanda Link to comment

Stanley
I was just noticing that after bouder premiers in Rubies, she will have danced in both Emeralds and Rubies, and that made me wonder if there has been any ballerinna who has danced the lead in all three Jewels; Emeralds, Rubies, and Diamonds?? Leigh Witchel
Merrill Ashley - sort of. She's done Emeralds and Diamonds, and as she described in Dancing for Balanchine, was thrown into Rubies pas de Deux at the last moment when Sara Leland was too injured to dance the entire ballet. cargill
I can think of several that did two out of three, but don't know if that counts! Miranda Weese did both Emeralds and Rubies, and in a better world, would have done Diamonds. Nichols has done Emeralds and Diamonds--I don't know if earlier in her career she ever did Rubies. Whelan has done Diamonds, and I remember reading reviews of her in Rubies. Link to comment
Helene
Merrill Ashley - sort of. She's done Emeralds and Diamonds, and as she described in Dancing for Balanchine, was thrown into Rubies pas de Deux at the last moment when Sara Leland was too injured to dance the entire ballet. I remember that she wrote that she told Balanchine she'd love to do the whole ballet, and got the Wall of Balanchine treatment. I can think of several that did two out of three, but don't know if that counts! Miranda Weese did both Emeralds and Rubies, and in a better world, would have done Diamonds. I would have loved to have seen a Weese Diamonds. (And if we're lucky, we may yet see it in Seattle, when Boal revives Jewels after next season.) Link to comment
carbro
Did Maria Calegari ever do Diamonds? I have strong memories of that stunning redhead in the oh-so-flattering green costume. That and her (off-topic) Piano Pieces costume. Link to comment
Dale
Kowroski has done the Paul role in Emeralds, the Govrin part in Rubies, and Farrell's role in Diamonds. Not all on one night Link to comment
