Farrell Fan
According to Alistair Macaulay's June 1 review, "'When I die.' George Balanchine sometimes remarked, 'everything masterpiece.'" I was unfamiliar with this quotation -- the posthumous predictions I know had to do with "the board" or the ballets being danced differently. But Mr. Macaulay continues to amaze, and this is certainly both more cheerful and very apt. I wonder if there are other quotations from Mr. B that are equally noteworthy. This is not to imply that Macaulay made up the quotation, but it might be fun if we made up a few. Link to comment
