Mel Johnson Posted July 30, 2006 Share Posted July 30, 2006 A slightly puzzling request. "Pavillion d'Armide" is an entirely different ballet from Don Quixote. Perhaps you mean the section called the "dream scene" or sometimes the "grotto scene" because in the 1869 and later productions of the ballet, the Don had to fight a spider and get through its web to get to this magical grotto. In later productions, the Don just falls asleep in the forest after his long travel pursuing the runaway Kitri and Basilio. Then that scene happens as a dream. Link to comment
