Solodansere means soloists,

Korpsdansere means corps de ballet,

A character dancer, in this sense, is one who performs mime roles and acting. Very important in the Bournonville repertoire. Character dancers may also be used to perform historical or national dances.

The karakterdansere category is a recent addition, from the early 90s if I'm remembering correctly, when the retirement age was drastically lowered (to 40) and dancers over 40 who remained with the company were so classified. Before this, every dancer in the company was a character dancer (as well as classical, of course)

Interesting that Character Dancers are often the most experienced of the company and the RDB grooms people to have such experiences at various points in their career (occasionally younger dancers or injured dancers find their way into character roles that are generally reserved for the veterans).
