Paul Parish
Yesterday's links included this excellent assessment of the founder of the Royal Ballet by Zoe Anderson in the Guardian: http://arts.guardian.co.uk/features/story/0,,1744257,00.html I just wanted to give it a bump and call folks' attention to it. In particular, it's rare these days to see a journalist acknowledge that public service could be selfless; Madam was iron-handed, but what she was doing was her duty as she saw it. And what a vision. Worthy subject, excellent writing. Link to comment
bart
Very good article. At the end there's a statement that it's an "edited extract" from Zoe Anderson's book The Royal Ballet: 75 Years" published in the UK by Faber. Is this available in the US? I found nothiing on Amazon. Link to comment
