Treefrog
I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the "Modern and Other Forms of Dance" forum. It's not really dance, and yet, strangely, it is. This is worthwhile viewing for any fans of movement interpretation of music. Moderator's note: Click "The Big Finale" screen on the right. Link to comment

Helene
Treefrog, for posting this. Bliss' use of rhythmic changes is so unusual. Link to comment
bart
Ditto the dropping jaw. It's clear from the audience response that they appreciate his remarkable connection to the music. I love the way he withdraws from the center of his own performance. The balls become the dancers. The old recommendation to "follow the bouncing balls" seems quite apt here. What a revelation! Estelle
Small world- I hadn't noticed that thread, but yesterday my husband showed my that video, and said he thought I'd like it as it does have some relation with dance. I wonder if Chris Bliss did some other, err, choreographies ?, using other musical scores ? Link to comment
