Natalia Posted April 19, 2005 Share Posted April 19, 2005 The Bolshoi Ballet's eternal Spartacus, Vladimir Vasiliev, turned "65 springtimes" yesterday. The Russian Kultura network is celebrating with a multi-part documentary series that began last night. Let's wish this wonderful dancer, choreographer & all-around Gentleman the very happiest of birthdays! Natalia p.s. Please feel free to share your memories of Vasiliev performances on this thread. I'll share a few memories in a little while, too. He & his lovely ballerina-wife, Ekaterina Maximova, toured the world (including the US, many times) both as part of & independent of the Bolshoi Ballet. Link to comment
