Mel Johnson
If anybody thinks nothing much goes on over on Ballet Talk for Dancers, scroll down through this topic until you find Daniil's post with a link to a video of him dancing. It's enough to restore your faith in the next generation, which sometimes gets sorely tried! Wow! http://dancers.invisionzone.com/index.php?...topic=21821&hl= Link to comment

Mel Johnson
And wasn't that a fine piece of work? I must admit subjecting him over there to a somewhat rigorous, but not unkindly meant analysis, and he took it in very good grace, even kidding me right back: "You're the only one who noticed that!" I could burst with joy at having such a good young dancer among our discoursers, and one as secure. This is a nice young man who deserves to have good work come his way. Link to comment
Helene
I was impressed by his responses to your critique, because it was clear that every decision was well-thought-out. Link to comment
sandik
Thanks so much for the heads-up on this -- it is indeed a lovely performance of that variation. And I really liked the "woo-hoo" response at the end of the clip! Link to comment
