Dale
Malkhova, Vishneva and Lacarra will be in a DVD scheduled to be released in Europe in March, called "Great Dancers of Our Time -- Staatsoper Berlin & Theater am Halleschen Ufer, Berlin, 2003" Here is part of the description: Three of the most fascinating dancers on the current international ballet scene in Germany present their favourite choreographies. The dancers first introduce the solo- or pas-de-deux-choreographies with a few words, but soon the sheer bodily presence of the dancing, however, leaves all explanations in the shade and expresses their intentions to the core. From classical to modern repertoire – together with their partners Diana Vishneva, Cyril Pierre and Christoph Böhm, the internationally celebrated star dancer Vladimir Malakhov, Lucia Lacarra, winner of the Nijinsky Award 2002, and the Japanese prima ballerina Kiyoko Kimura present state of the art dancing in a series of half hour features. They present choreographies by Michail Fokine, Renato Zanella, Marius Petipa, Uwe Scholz, Kenneth MacMillan and Val Caniparoli featuring music by Bach, Bruckner, Chopin, Massenet, Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Weber. http://www.tdk-music.com/frame_content.php...ng&from_id=1383 Link to comment
