Guest whos_lulu
I have a history of ballet assignment to do focussing on The Classical Period, Marius Petipa, his influence on Russian Ballet, and his choreography of such ballets such as Don Quixote, La Bayadere, Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty. I was wondering if anyone knew any good/accurate websites realting to these topics. Also if anyone knows anything which was "typical" of Petipa when he was choreographing ballets. What his ballets were renowned for etc ... that would be muchly appreciated as well! Thank you. Link to comment
Victoria Leigh
Lulu, we don't recommend using websites for ballet history. Although you can find some information that is accurate, there is probably a lot out there which is not reliable. We strongly suggest the library for this! Link to comment
