Guest RGK Posted May 21, 2003 Share Posted May 21, 2003 Susan Jaffe, former principal dancer with American Ballet Theater, announced today that she will be co-director and teacher at a new dance and theater school in Princeton, NJ. Ms. Jaffe was awarded the 2003 Dance Magazine Award and is currently the advisor to the Executive Director of ABT, a position she plans to keep. Princeton Dance and Theater Studio, scheduled to open in September 2003, will offer high-caliber training in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, musical theater and acting. Many of the teachers will be coming in weekly from New York. In addition to the seventy-nine classes per week, pre-eminent dance and theater professionals will teach a monthly master class. Ms. Jaffe's co-director is Risa Gary Kaplowitz, former principal dancer with Dayton Ballet and Manhattan Ballet and company member of Houston Ballet.
