I agree Richard. I love the thrill I get with lifts, dives, and catches. When I get them down perfectly during a performance it makes the rest of the piece even better. ~Laur~ :blush:

You'd be surprised at what people buy on ebay, & what people actually sell!! I wouldn't be suprised if someone went for it. :blush:

Many people I know look down on ballet. When I tell new people that I meet that I'm a dancer, they think "big deal".."yeah, your point.." Many people just aren't informed about it, and just how many different types of dance there are, not just ballet. I think bringing dance into more art programs in schools can really spread the word and get more people interested. Thus, people may want to support more & know where the money is going. For me, we spread the word about our conservatory that it reached the govenor & we received an amazing grant. Now we have a facility of a professional dance company, & restored our neighbor theatre (The Warner Theatre).

Personally, being a dancer I have to say I love getting a brava & some whistles. :blush: For some reason being on stage & looking out into the audience after a great performace & hearing those bravas gives me a rush. I love the feeling.
