WNYE is going to run the Elusive Muse on Thursday November 20th at 8pm. In the attached link it says that when Suzanne F. returned from Bejart's Ballet she came without Paul Mejia. Does anyone know what Paul M. did? Did he stay with Bejart? What ever became of the man? The Elusive Muse

I'm so happy for Suzanne Farrell on getting this award . I hope her plans to make her company full-time are also successful. It would make me so happy to see that be a reality. The Farrell Ballet currently only works together for 20 weeks out of the year so that may be why she hasn't relocated to DC yet. There are also to Morristowns in NJ. One is in Morris County and the other is in Middlesex. I think its hard to say where she really lives right now. Best of Luck to her and the Company.

Ash's departure follows that of Andrea Long, who is now a principal with the Dance Theater of Harlem. This leaves the company with no African-American women on its roster, though there are a handful of black male dancers. For that reason, Ash said, "Leaving was a hard decision for me. Carbro, I'm glad you thought that much about Mr. Boal's performance. That is the first time I ever saw him. Ironically I tried to see him on 2 other occasions and missed him (once at JOyce theater in something choreographed by Evans and was detained and another time in Leigh's show but a tornado kept me away!) Yesterday, I didn't expect to see him and he was there. It was a pleasant surprise to say the least. (Farrell Fan, thanks for the feedback.)
