  1. Good morning from misty London! I'm a novelist, working on a new book about a principal dancer who's injured out of the profession. It's a literary thriller in its *very* early stages and I'm greedy for inspiration. I've devoured all the great memoirs and now I'm looking for novels set in the contemporary ballet world. I'm reading Maggie Shipstead's Astonish Me, about a New Yorker who quits when she becomes pregnant, only to find that her son is gifted enough to become the dancer she never got to be. It's brilliant and I would highly recommend it. Any other fiction I should read? I'd prefer adult books to YA. www.erinkelly.co.uk
