I was at Sunday evening's performance. It was absolutely wonderful -- Indiana Woodward might be the best Dewdrop after Tiler Peck. What speed and joy! Sterling Hyltin after all these years is still the warmest, loveliest of Sugarplum Fairies. Andrew Veyette looked in great shape -- best I've seen him in years.
The slightly older kids were more noticeable in the second act. In the first act the party adults are all tall dancers. But in the second act, many of the angels were too tall for their costumes, and only four polichinelles could fit into Mother Ginger (the other four were hidden behind Mother Ginger). Also, the Marie was nearly as tall as Hyltin.
But overall, a lovely performance. Kristen Segin was really great as Marzipan.
