Hi, I think ist is a very important thing. The director should be in the studio's. i The result of the rehaersel is first of all the directors responsebility. Second of all; the dancers should see that heshe is still there, that there is an authority. They also see that he cares about what they do. He has to work with them, I think its the most important thing. And I think the director should also teach ones in a while. The almost the only possebility to see in what kind shape the dancers technicly are. I thing what I think can not be avoided is that the artistic director has to raise funds. If there are two directors maybe, if there is one its a busy job.

Hi, well, he is a very good partner. But not really a prince type. But I dont think thats very important. I think he did a great job partnering Bridget with still pain in his back. And he also learned the ballet very fast. Bridget is a very nice Swan. But I did not see her as black Swan. But I love her very much!!

Hi, thanks for your repliey! Jiri Jelinek did his premiere 2 days ago with Bridget Breiner for your information. The others are still injured. But slowly coming back. The music in the 4th act is from Tjaikovsky's Hamlet. It is a beautiful piece of music and I think it fits the ballet very well. The costumes are indeed a bit strange in the 3rd act, especially the boys Sopnisch costumes. About the tutu's: the were long last time, 5 years ago or so, I believe. But now they changed it, I dont know why. But I think to; it's nicer than the longer ones.

Thanks for your answer. What I am most intersted at is: if you see something beautifull in a painting or sculpture, and you got inspiration from it. How do you deal with it when you have to dance a role. How do you translate the feeling what you have from the painting or sculpture into your dancing?

Hi, I just wanted to say that I saw Onegin in Stuttgart this seison and I loved Katja Wünsche as Olga so much!!! Tatjana was Sue-Jin Kang und Onegin was Roland Vogel and Lenski was Misha Kaniskin. Sue-Jin was really amazing, she was such a woman! She went so deep, I don't know how to explain it. It was Katja's premiere but she did the best Olga I have ever seen! Her parntner Misha was for me not so good, than I like Friedemann Vogel much better and of course Robert Tewsley. Roland Vogel was a great partner and he went very deep to. They all really touched me!! That was so nice to feel.

Hi, I wonder what other people think about the influence of other Arts, for instance sculpture, painting, have on ballet. Did other arts apply something to ballet in history. Does for instance a sculpture give you inspiration for a ballet, or for a performance? And how do you translate it from the art of painting, which is not moving, to the art of ballet( moving)? I hope I get some answers. Thanks in advance!!

Hi, I find her an amazingly technicly dancer. She is very good. She danced Sleeping Beauty with Malakhov in Stuttgart. But technic is not everything...... More I am not going to say because I really respect her.

Hi, I know Alicia well and she is a very nice person and dancer. She is a first soloist now yes and she just did her first Tatkana in onegin. The press liked it a lot but I though she is to young for it.

Hi, I've danced last seison with Malakhov in Stuttgart. I did Kameliendame and Romeo and Julia with him on tour. I think he is first of all a very nice person and second off all a great dancer. I think you can not compare him with Nureyev. I see Nureyev in a differnet catogary. Nureyev really changed the status off the male dancer. Malakhov did of course do al lot to for the ballet, but that kind of an impact he had not. Maybe he will have that now as a director. His technik is soft an fragile. He had a very good scholing, also Mr. Pestov. If you look to the video when he was in the Bolschoi school, you see that he LEARNED everything. It's not that he found out some thing, he really studied and learned it. If you take that, and his talent of giving and his fysical talent you have a world dancer. I have great respect of him!
