  1. This is a new and very different Romeo and Julia. Set in a city in crisis, all gray and black. The sets are minimal, movable walls, in fact the dancers move the walls, it is very effective. The costumes are renaissance in style with a modern twist. The ballet is in two acts very of this time. But it was the quality and power of the dancing that made the evening so unforgettable. I cannot remember a more enjoyable evening at the ballet, it was so good to see so many happy faces leaving a theatre. This was a World premiere of Mats Ek Work.
  2. One of the best nights at the Swedish Ballet . Mats Ek Romeo and Julia. fantastic production, fantastic dancers, what a show. Standing ovation and a great evening. Jerome Marchand, Mercutio WOW!! Amazing.
