Hello, Thanks to all those who created this opportunity to share and relate (almost) all things ballet! Though never a dancer, I appreciate the art form very much. My particular interest is in its history. Music is also an abiding interest..after all, what would dance be without it Thanks for this opportunity to introduce myself. I'll be combing the forum archives for information on the late Diana Adams. I've given thought to writing her biography so anyone out there with information on this arguably loveliest of mid 20th century performers is someone from whom I'd definitely like to hear. Cheers! I am wondering if anyone knows of a biography written of the late Diana Adams? My search turned up nothing. I myself have given consideration to writing one and am interested in corresponding with those who knew her publicly as well as privately. My interest began from the impression formed on me by some photographs made of her by George Platt Lynes and Martha Swope - ex., cover of the recent book of the history of ballet "Apollo's Angels". What a beautiful, long line..look of comportment and refinement..just beautiful! Any takers out there are free to email me with your support of this effort.
