Love in the Dustbin (Kærlighed i Skarnkassen). Choreographer Dinna Bjørn and Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark have created a unique story of love and pride based on three of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytales. We all know the story of the spinning top that falls in love with the ball but is, alas, considered too inferior. We also meet the Collars, the Darning Needles, the Comb, the Garter, and the Scissors. They all think they are far superior to the rest, but they all end up in the dustbin!
