Alexandra
What you especially looking forward to seeing this spring at NYCB? Which ballets, which dancers? Link to comment
Calliope
Barak's new piece. Mahdaviani's new piece. In G Major Interplay and Who Cares (I have a few people who've never been to the ballet, so I'm taking them to programs with those on it!) and of course, Midsummer's Dancers: Just hoping no one gets injured and of course, hoping this is the season Rutherford gets promoted! and of the new ones, Lindy Mandradjieff peaked my interest a lot. E Johnson
In G major and Who Cares?, too, as well as perennial favorites Agon and Serenade. Also I'm hoping for a second look at Mercurial Manoeuvres. Link to comment
Farrell Fan
I'm looking forward to all the Diamond Project ballets, especially by Barak, Mahdaviani and Albert Evans. I'm also curious about Mauro Bigonzetti. High time an Italian choreographer was represented at NYCB! I hope he won't take revenge for "Viva Verdi!" Link to comment
bobbi
Hi: I am looking forward to all the Balanchine ballets of course and to seeing them re-populated with a young crop of dancers, particularly Ashley Bouder, Janie Taylor and Carla Korbes (hope she's back) and also Antonio Carmena whose dancing exudes elegancy, musicality and joy. I would like to see all of the above in Who Cares!! . Link to comment
