Helene
Elizabeth Murphy and Jerome Tisserand will perform as Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier with the Goh Ballet from December 14-19 at The Centre. https://www.surreynowleader.com/entertainment/goh-time-for-surrey-dancers-in-big-nutcracker-show-in-vancouver/ It's a beautiful production by Anna-Marie Holmes, with live music conducted by Leslie Dala. Students from the Goh Ballet Academy are well-represented, and this year marks the 40th anniversary of the Academy. Link to comment
Helene
Joshua Grant will perform the Cavalier with Studio West Dance Theatre at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts in Olympia, WA from December 14-18. He's been helping the students with partnering, both how to and how to be partnered. https://www.thurstontalk.com/2017/11/10/family-favorite-nutcracker-ballet-returns-beautiful-minnaert-stage/ The article also mentions that he will give master classes and be involved in a new work over the next months. Helene
Am finding this somewhat incomprehensible (aside from NYCB's Megan Fairchild and Joaquin De Luz having guested as Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier), and the Ballet Hawaii website is not helping, but Lesley Rausch and Lucien Postlewaite are or have guested in some roles in Ballet Hawaii's "Nutcracker": https://www.broadwayworld.com/hawaii/article/BWW-Review-BALLET-HAWAIIS-NUTCRACKER-at-Neal-Blaisdell-Concert-Hall-20171216 Link to comment
Helene
Kyle Davis is guesting in the Makaroff Youth Ballet's "Nutcracker" this weekend. He had studied at the Makaroff School of Ballet in Appleton, Wisconsin. http://www.postcrescent.com/story/life/2017/12/16/famous-guest-artists-can-raise-bar-local-performers/948426001/ Link to comment
