I think the woman is Mathilde Froustey :) Impressive feats of strength and body control by both partners.

Incidentally, that movement is similar to a traditional strength training exercise known as "the get up" or "the Turkish get up", most often done whilst holding a kettlebell (weight), but this takes it to a whole new level!

Yes, sorry I should have mentioned that - a lot of these short videos originate with Froustey or Kochetkova since they post constantly to their Instagram pages.

The scary part is definitely when Helimets tries to raise himself back up from the floor - very hard on the back and not really safe 'exercise', but Tit executes the movement in as safe a manner as he can muster.

If the poster is "lapetitefrench_" then that is Froustey, and "balletrusse" is Kochetkova.

Froustey's recent Instagram post regrading Muriel Maffre and Tiit Helimets ("one of the best partners I ever danced with") reminded me of a Helimets interview in which he talks about the pride he takes in partnering (something few modern danseurs talk about). The great danseurs always learn to care about partnering. The "good" ones are often stuck at that level due to their partnering issues.

How lovely -- it looks like they have that moment where Aurora looks out onto the crowd before she fully enters the space -- Croce described it in one of her earlier reviews of the Royal Ballet production, and I always hope to see it.

Mathilde Froustey is in Montana to dance Giselle with the Yellowstone Ballet Company. She did a short TV interview, and posted some rehearsal footage:
