Ailey at the Movies (and on TV - Nov. 4)

On Thursday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. local time, the Lincoln Center at the Movies series continues with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater performing Wayne McGregor's Chroma, Ronald K. Brown's Grace, Robert Battle's Takademe and Ailey's Revelations. The program will be presented at several hundred U.S. cinemas by Fathom Events.

This program will be out on DVD and Blu-ray on October 14.

Glad to hear it -- alongside the more traditional Ailey offerings here, this includes their production of Wayne McGregor's Chroma, which has become something of a contemporary classic.  It's not always that easy to see here on the west coast -- I'll be glad to have a copy.
