ABT II/JKO School to perform at The Kaye Playhouse

ABT II AND THE JACQUELINE KENNEDY ONASSIS SCHOOL AT

AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE TO PERFORM AT THE KAYE PLAYHOUSE,

MAY 10-12, 2011

ABT II and students of the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American

Ballet Theatre will showcase their talents at The Kaye Playhouse with four performances

from May 10-12, 2011.

The Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre will give

two performances, Tuesday, May 10 at 8 P.M. and Wednesday, May 11 at 2 P.M.

Students will perform excerpts from Les Sylphides as well as original works by JKO

Principal Franco De Vita, Raymond Lukens and former ABT Principal dancer Susan

Jaffe. Tickets are priced at $30 for orchestra seats and $25 for balcony seats, with

discounted prices for ABT members, senior citizens, and students.

Performances for ABT II will take place at 8 P.M. on Wednesday, May 11

and Thursday, May 12. The program will include the New York premiere of Jessica

Lang’s Vivace Motifs, the pas de deux from George Balanchine’s Stars and Stripes,

Antony Tudor’s Continuo, Vasily Vainonen’s Flames of Paris, Victor Gsovsky’s

Grand Pas Classique, and Jodie Gates’ A Taste of Sweet Velvet. Tickets for ABT II’s

performances are priced at $35 for orchestra seats and $25 for balcony seats. Discounts

are available for ABT members, senior citizens and students.
