NY Theatre Ballet to present Works by Pelle

New Works by Italian Choreographer Marco Pelle

February 28 & 29 at 7:30pm

New York, NY – Italian choreographer Marco Pelle will present new choreography at New York Theatre Ballet's Dance Gallery, 30 East 31st Street, 5th floor on February 28 & 29, 2008 at 7:30pm. The event is sponsored by the Italian Institute of Culture and will be followed by a wine reception.

Featured ballets are "Spaces", "Endless Possibilities of being", "Hope" with music by Federico Pelle, "Carmen" , III Entr'Acte, music by Bizet, "Prelude in C sharp minor", music by Rachmaninoff and "Symphony no 3 Adagio Poco Allegretto", music by Brahms.

Guest dancers are Kyle Coffman, Mitchell Kilby, Rie Okura, Evan Swenson, Julie-Anne Taylor, and Elena Zahlmann soloists from New York Theatre Ballet.

Marco Pelle has choreographed Aida in Lebanon for the Baalbeck Festival, Carmen at Teatro Regio, Parma and Macbeth at the Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi, Italy. He has created original works for New York Theatre Ballet and for festivals in Italy, France, Hungary and Chile.
