BecBR Posted June 2, 2006 Share Posted June 2, 2006 Hi, everyone. I'm Bec. I've lurked here for quite a long time, and I've finally decided to join. My connection to ballet is a bit complicated. I'm a "ballet brat". Both of my parents were professional dancers. My mother danced with the Sydney City Ballet and Ballet Victoria (both in Australia), and my father was a dancer in the Australian National Tour of A Chorus Line. My mother was also Omaha Ballet's ballet mistress (long before I was born). They now own a ballet school in Washington state. I studied ballet throughout my childhood. I stopped dancing a few years ago when I was 16. I can't really explain why, but it just wasn't for me. However, I love ballet, and I want to be a ballet historian. Quote Link to comment
