Participants will include soloists of the Mariinsky & Maly-Mussorgsky ballet troupes, as well as students of the Vaganova Academy of Ballet. Related to this, local TV-5 channel reported yesterday that Uliana Lopatkina is scheduled to dance at this concert. [Note: This would not surprise me, as Lopatkina always pays honor to her teacher, Dudinskaya.] Related note: Russia's national KULTURA channel will pay homage to Dudinskaya's famous husband & professional partner, Konstantin Sergeev, this coming Saturday night (March 5, 18:45 - 45-minute show), with a program in honor of his 95th birthday anniversary.
