Alexandra Posted September 10, 2004 Share Posted September 10, 2004 Press release from American Ballet Theatre: NINA ANANIASHVILI TO TAKE MEDICAL LEAVE American Ballet Theatre Principal Dancer Nina Ananiashvili has announced that she will take a temporary medical leave from the Company effective immediately. As a result, she will not perform during ABT’S Fall season at City Center as previously announced. Ananiashvili will return to American Ballet Theatre in time to perform for the Company’s engagement at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, February 1-13, 2005. -------------------------------------------------------- Before anyone asks, this is the whole and entire press release. We have no further details, and we're not going to ask I'm assuming that if Ms. Ananiashvili wanted us to know exactly what was going on, down to the anatomical details and medications prescribed, if any, she would have let us know.
