She was 75 years old. Born on August 2, 1942 in Berwyn, IL; she was the daughter of the late Oldrich F. and Esther (Albrecht) Fisera. Vicki started dancing professionally at the age of 18 in Chicago with Ruth Page. After moving to NY she joined the Metropolitan Opera Co in the Corp de ballet. When she retired after 30 years she was a Principle dresser. Surviving is her sister, Valarie Hanlon and her husband Michael of Arizona; her brother, Rich Fisera and his wife Jean of Illinois; nephews, Mark and Matthew; nieces Tiffy and Jenelle as well as many dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband Dan Tanner. As per Vicki’s wishes there will be no services.   8. She danced with Patrice Bart in one of the marathon ballet festivals in Chicago that Geraldine Freund staged in the 1970s, a really impressive Don Quixote; I'm glad I got to see her even one time. RIP.
  9. Lois Weber's "Shoes" (1916) was entered into the National Film Registry recently; I knew the star of that film briefly (Mary MacLaren) at the end of her life in the 1980s - I am still looking to see "Shoes" for the first time.
