Now here's an easy question.  What ballet would you nominate for the best new ballet (not revival) created in the calendar year 2001?

Telemann Overture Suite in E Minor by Melissa Barak.  I look forward to seeing how it transcends on to dancers it wasn't made on.

Eliot Feld's ballett "Organon"
done to Bach's Organ music and performed
by the NYCB in January 2001 for the New
Combinations evening that the City Ballett
hold for annual tribute of G.B.'s birthday.

I would suggest Ib Andersen's gorgeous ballet to Rachmaninoff, 'Indigo Rhapsody', premiered a few weeks after 9/11.

I'll throw in my lot with Polyphonia. Best of a so-so crop.
