19 Jul:
Emeralds - same as 18 Jul except PdT - Scherbakov for Korsakov

Thanks, all.  Yet the mystery remains:  *Which* version of 'Bayadere' will open the season, 'old 1941' or 'new 1900'?

They may well make some changes, but I'd be surprised if this were not the new/old Bayadere.

According to Lincoln Center official news release it's the 'new 1900' Bayadere.

AT, at the MET's own website, they have the reverse casting of what you list for the July 10 matinee and evening La Bayadere.  I was hoping to see Pavlenko in this (as well as in the 7/13 Swan matinee) -- and actually bought a pricey ticket.  Are you sure she's not doing the evening rather than the matinee on July 10?

the casting as given in this thread is according to a list revised as of 14 june, when it seems to have arrived at the linc. cent. offices.
it could still change again, past experience w/ such things has proven how 'fluid' kirov casting can be. to be sure, this current list is different in many ways from the one that preceded it. i assume that management is living under the 'casting subject to change' caveat. all one can say for now is that the list given here jibes with the most recent information provided by lincoln center.

Apparently Nioradze isn't here at all. So does anyone actually know who's dancing Don Q tomorrow? Or the last two Swan Lakes, for that matter? I'd kind of like to see Part tonight, but I'm soooo tired, and it'll probably be someone else, anyway.

Thanks, everyone. I think Golub would be a delight. And after spending most of the season admiring Tarasova's beautiful and clean dancing, I'd really love to see how she does in a role where she can (and must) really cut loose.
