The beloved ballerina of the Kirov-Mariinsky, Uliana Lopatkina, gave birth to a girl last week. Mama & 'dochka' are reportedly doing very well!

A bit more - Konso. Pravda newspaper ran a short interview with Lopatkina yesterday. Baby (yet unnamed) was born at 4 kg. Lopatkina's fans will have to wait a while longer before seeing their ballerina on the stage, as UL declared that she will be taking at least two months of maternity leave before getting back into the ballet regime & beginning to take class & rehearse. Ahhh...we can wait...perhaps by the time of the Paris season in October???
