Mikko Nissinen, Artistic Director of the Alberta Ballet has just announced his resignation. Is Boston Ballet in the cards? The suggestion in Alberta is that Mikko is the number one candidate to take over as Artistic Director of Boston Ballet. This is why he summitted his resignation. Has anyone heard anything further on the situation at Boston?

Thanks for the info. There's a brief item by Theodore Bale in today's Boston Herald -- (the link's available in today's Links thread).
