Remember Jeff Edwards and Cornel Crabtree? They've popped up in Providence, Rhode Island, and the local paper has published interviews with both of them. Interesting to see what they've been doing.
After NYCB, Zurich, and Lyon, Jeff enrolled in Brown and is about to graduate with a degree in Modern Culture and Media. Read more about it: http://www.projo.com...y.3e7812d8.html
Cornel (his first name is a diminutive of a Romanian name—his mother is Romanian) is a freelance dancer specializing in character parts. No surprise to those of us who remember his wonderful gangster in Slaughter on Tenth Avenue. http://www.projo.com...i.24eb786d.html

One place you will find Cornel Crabtree is at Symphony Space starting on June 25th. Oddly, that newspaper article didn't mention his very current and ongoing involvement with Dance Galaxy: http://dancegalaxy.org/ If you haven't seen this company of really excellent dancers, you are really missing a wonderful opportunity.
I had the pleasure of seeing them last year at The Joyce. This year they're bringing the company uptown. I highly recommend seeing this company perform - last year they performed several pieces and, as good luck would have it, they are going to perform Stanton Welch's "Orange" again. Don't miss it!! The energy is amazing.

There's actually a section on NYCB's web site that's called...Where Are They Now?
There's a listing of everyone who's danced with the company AND an Alumni Directory, that lists former dancers who've gone on to other companies, or other jobs.
Here's the link to the directory:
