Vanessa Zahorian and Davit Karapetyan perform in their final “Swan Lake” as the couple retire from the S.F. Ballet.

You couldn’t choreograph a more epic swan song than Vanessa Zahorian and Davit Karapetyan’s. The beloved San Francisco Ballet principal dancers gave a moving and joyful farewell performance of “Swan Lake” on Saturday, April 15, at War Memorial Opera House, where the sold-out audience cheered them at every turn, starting with the opening video tribute, and threw flowers at their feet during the curtain calls.
