Also of interest is Bourne's The Red Shoes, which will come to the KC in October 2017 (and probably also make a stop in NYC at City Center).  Did anyone see this in London?

Somewhat puzzled by the announcement that Farrell Ballet performances won't be at Kennedy Center. That seems an odd conclusion to their collaboration. And where will they be?

Same thing with ABT (will not take place at the Kennedy Center). Perhaps with other troupes? It must have something to do with the construction.

Once again, the KennCen is blending the ballet & contemporary dance seasons. Furthermore, the musical AN AMERICAN IN PARIS is being lumped into the Ballet-Dance season. Sad situation.

So the Cubans return with DQ and Giselle yet again? I know that their rep is much greater than "same old-same old." They danced a very fine Paquita last March in Havana when I visited on a biz trip, for ex. Time to expand the international offerings. At least "Magia de la Danza" is being put to rest for now.
