Helene
I remember her from her work in musicals, too. Rest in peace, Ms. Henderson. Link to comment
sandik
Somewhere out there in the internet is an interview with Henderson about her experiences in musical theater that I heard a few years ago -- she was witty and smart, and very aware of the extraordinary opportunities she had. A pleasure to remember. Link to comment
dirac
Thank you for posting, Cygnet. A lady of many talents. She had bad luck on the big screen. There wasn't another open slot for a Wholesome Musical Lady Star. She appeared in "Song of Norway" about which Pauline Kael remarked, if I remember correctly, "You can't get made at something this stupefying; it seems to have been made by trolls." She appeared on a segment of "Wait..Wait...Don't Tell Me!" a couple of years ago. Link to comment
