Quote Rehearsals for The Royal Ballet's much-loved production of The Nutcracker will be livestreamed via the Royal Opera House YouTube channel and on this page from 7.20pm BST on 27 October 2016. Despite Christmas still being a couple of months away, preparations are well underway at Covent Garden for the return of this festive favourite. The rehearsal livestream will see Leticia Stock and Marcelino Sambé run through Clara and Hans-Peter's pas de deux and Claire Calvert rehearsing the role of the Rose Fairy. Tchaikovsky's wonderful score will also be explored by Paul Wingfield as he demonstrates the enchanting and distinctive sound of the Celeste that soundtracks the Sugar Plum Fairy's solo.
