Filmed in late May 2015, the Mariinsky Ballet's latest DVD release features Somova as Aurora, Schklyarov as the Prince and Shapran as Lilac. So far, available only on Amazon Japan; not sure when it may appear on other Amazon sites. Here's the link to Japan:

Also note that the Japan site is also selling DVDs of other recent filmings not yet available in the US & Europe, such as Anna Karenina w/ Lopatkina and Bayadere w/ Tereshkina. (I realize that all of these have been aired on Mezzo TV in parts of Europe.)

Edited to add:

Based on the Mariinsky's pattern for filming ballets, in which a ballet is programmed on three consecutive nights with Gergiev as the conductor, we may surmise that the next filming will be of the Gliere/Smekalov-after-Zakharov ballet THE BRONZE HORSEMAN. So far, the soloist dancers have not been announced (it was Tereskina/Shklyarov at the premiere on March 31) but Gergiev is shown as conductor on June 15, 2016:

The ballet is due to be performed on the consecutive nights of June 15, 16 & 17 at the Mariinsky II stage. The other tip-off to likely filming is that Gergiev will lead.

There is information that La Bayadere on May 1st featuring Vishneva, Kim and Tereshkina was filmed.

As mentioned above, a recent recording of Bayadere with Tereshkina, Shklyarov has been released in Japan, so a little strange that there will be two La Bayaderes in a short period of time.

Also Little Humped Back Horse with Somova was broadcasted in Japan recently (along with the DVD released Bayadere, Sleeping Beauty) but has not been released as DVD.

Plus, a Vaganova Ballet Academy documentary, filming 8 years of a class has also been released recently.

That would be welcome news -- it's not an easy ballet to see.

Large portions were reconstructed. Whatever Smekalov could salvage through his research, including talks with dancers from the old production who are still alive. Also, the new designs evoke the old style...not minimalist El Cheapo.

Great news on the cast to be filmed!!!
