volcanohunter
But seriously, if you're likely to be bothered by overhead views of diagonals, manèges, fouettés and pretty much every other kind of turn, this DVD will be problematic. Link to comment
sandik
What a lovely gift for a Monday! Growing up in the suburbs, a big chunk of my early dance education came from television, and particularly from variety shows. I do love this kind of work! But looking at this today, after having the good luck to see Doug Fullington's loving reconstruction of the Jardin Anime section of Le Corsaire over the weekend, I'm really struck by the similarities. Leaving out the actual technique, the use of pattern and props for an ensemble is astonishing. Link to comment
