rkoretzky
Does anyone know if standing room is still offered? I'd love to see Ashley Bouder in what I'm guessing might be her last performances before her maternity leave. But I'd rather not spend $75 in the 4th ring which is all that's available. cobweb
They only sell standing room if there is a complete sellout. In my experience you can't count on this. Instead you might try a partial view seat. I believe they have to be purchased in person at the box office. Keep in mind it really is a partial view. Sit house right if you want to see the tree go up. Link to comment
rkoretzky
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll probably spring for the full view seat. Link to comment
mussel
State Theater starts releasing unsold ADA seats few days before performances. Link to comment
Emma
Hi -- I've long been a fan of this site but haven't had much to post until now. Do you need to go to the box office in person to pick up standing room/unsold ADA seats? Over the phone? Thank you! Link to comment
FauxPas
Just a warning: I checked the NYCB website for ticket availability for the Saturday and Sunday matinees of the NYCB "Nutcracker". Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday long weekend when many New Yorkers are out of town, there are over 250 available seats for each show. I had felt a similar urgency to catch Ashley Bouder before her maternity leave. However, it looks like there won't be standing room for this coming weekend's shows barring a sudden rush for tickets.
