A sampler of duets, individually re-worked for PNB, New Suite’s multiple pairings articulate a diversity of forms as well as matters between the sexes. And In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated returns to the PNB stage: endlessly prized by dancers and audiences, its relentless pace and fierce physicality serve as paradigm for Forsythe’s revolutionary impact on 21st-century ballet. SandyMcKean Posted March 12, 2015 Share Posted March 12, 2015 How wonderful. I've recently moved from Seattle to a small island in the NW corner of the USA....no bridges, only a ferry. I live in a cabin heated by a wood stove with my wonderful wife and 3 beautiful cats. AND YET....I can sit here and watch LIVE one of most creative people of our times, at work, on my computer screen as if (or nearly so) I were there. All is right with the world! Amour Posted March 12, 2015 Share Posted March 12, 2015 Thank you, Helene for letting us know about this. As an a East Coast person I don't really follow the West Coast companies. It was really interesting to see Forsythe working with the dancers. He's a very articulate man but very specific in what he wants. And I've never seen New Suite so that was great. How wonderful to be able to see these live streams wherever you are in the world. Link to comment
