Ballet Apetrei presents "Alice in Wonderland."

[Thom] Clower began dancing at age 6 and started training professionally with the Dallas Civic Ballet in 1968. He studied in New York, Paris, Amsterdam and London. He spent much of his career performing and serving as ballet master in Dallas, and it was in Dallas where he first met Constantin and Kelly Apetrei.

 

Since 2001, Clower has staged and created ballets for companies around the world as a freelance teacher and choreographer. He joined the faculty of Allegro Ballet of Houston in 2009.

Olga Smirnova will appear with American Ballet Theatre in the spring.

 

Two dancers will perform with Ballet Theater as part of its exchange program: Vladimir Shklyarov, a principal dancer with the Mariinsky Ballet, and Amy Watson, a principal dancer with the Royal Danish Ballet.
