Madison Sugg, who danced with Ballet West before joining Pacific Northwest Ballet this season, danced "Square Dance" with the caller and described her experience in her "American Stories" blog post on the PNB site:

While Balanchine realized that his original version didn’t quite cut it in New York, it seemed to work well in a western town such as Salt Lake City.
