Carrie Seidman of the Herald-Tribune reviews the YAGP Gala in Sarasota:

There were other highlights too, most notably a highly musical and effervescent rendering of George Balanchine's folk-flavored "Tarantella" by Ashley Bouder and Daniel Ulbricht, both YAGP alums now with NYCB. Ulbricht, a native of St. Petersberg, is always a hometown favorite and this piece gave him a chance to do what he does best — turn on the charisma, defy gravity and give a rebel's flair to every step. (So enthusiastic was his tambourine slapping that on one wallop, the cymbals flew off in multiple directions.)
