Hans van Manen at Mariinsky

It has been announced that Mariinsky ballet will take four works of van manen on their repertoire, five tango's, solo, variations for two couples and adagio hammerklavier. This will première in July.

That's great news!  Pacific Northwest Ballet performed "Five Tangos" in 2002, on a program with Stephen Baynes' "El Tango," and Nicolo Fonte's "Almost Tango."
