ABT Principal Dancers Join Honorary Chairs Caroline Kennedy

and Blaine Trump in One-Night-Only Celebration



American Ballet Theatre celebrates the opening of the 2013 Spring Season at the Metropolitan Opera House with a one-time-only opening night gala performance on Monday, May 13 at 6:30pm. Caroline Kennedy and Blaine Trump will serve as Honorary Chairs of this special performance featuring all of ABT’s Principal Dancers.
American Ballet Theatre’s 2013 Spring Gala is sponsored by CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE.
The opening night benefit performance will include appearances by American Ballet Theatre’s Principal Dancers including Roberto Bolle, Herman Cornejo, Irina Dvorovenko, Marcelo Gomes, David Hallberg, Paloma Herrera, Julie Kent, Gillian Murphy, Natalia Osipova, Veronika Part, Xiomara Reyes, Polina Semionova, Hee Seo, Daniil Simkin, Cory Stearns, Ivan Vasiliev and Diana Vishneva.
Co-Chairs for the 2013 Opening Night Gala include Sloan Lindemann Barnett, Nina Rennert Davidson, Karin Luter, Kalliope Karella Rena, Christine Schwarzman, Tracy Snyder and Monica G-S Wambold. Sutton Stracke will serve as Vice Chair of the evening.
American Ballet Theatre’s 2013 Spring Gala Honorary Committee will include Kim Cattrall, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Stacy Keibler, Lea Michele, Kelly Rutherford, Zoë Saldaña, Ashlee Simpson, Aaron Sorkin, Stephanie Szostak and Uma Thurman.
A Gala dinner under The Tent at Lincoln Center will immediately follow the performance. Gala benefit ticket prices, ranging from $1,500 to $5,000, include performance and post-performance dinner.
