interestingly these three women are identified as Mmes not Mlles.
it would seem from this photo that Anna Pavlova wasn't alone in tweaking the front of her pointes to look pen-point sharp in photos from this era.
with her hair 'down,' Mme Labatoux seems to have taken cues from a look preferred by Cleo de Merode.
the scene looks like one suggesting a break for this threesome as they play some board game.
