I've never seen that particular fan trick combined with fouettes before.

No but Eleanor D'Antuno of ABT used to do the quarter turns in her fouettes.

She's lovely, as usual, but I'd love to see them do the opening adagio at actual tempo, and the orchestra not play this like the "White Sawn" pas de deux.
