The high-def film of the Dec 31, 2011 performance of the traditional Nutcracker at the Mariinsky, starring Somova and Schklyarov, will be released in mid-December, under the Kultur label:

Both the UK and US Amazon.com stores list a new Mariinsky release for December 18, 2012, sans the photo seen in the above link. Coming in both DVD and Blu-Ray formats. The Amazon description mentions a 'Making of..." bonus.

For folks in the USA, amazon.com is taking pre-orders at $20.99 for DVD ($9 off the listed price of $29.99)...and you can use the link attached to Ballet Alert web to place your order. Blu-Ray is higher.
